About us
SlimstePrijs originated from the need for automatic pricing and insight into competition for our own webshop with 100.000 articles. We constantly ran into the problem that manual pricing takes a lot of time and the competition always seemed to be one step ahead.
Ewold Kok, creator and founder of SlimstePrijs has taken up this problem with his years of experience as a programmer and has written extensive software for it. After months of programming, testing and adjusting, we put the system live on our own webshop and were very enthusiastic about the results.
Who would have expected that we were selling products below our purchase price and could increase in price by 25% of the products and still be the cheapest.
We still have the enthusiasm every day and are now working every day with a small team SlimstePrijs better and more complete.
We receive many positive reactions from customers and challenging questions. Due to customer questions, we make the system more extensive, more complex and easier to operate for the user every week.
Our entire team is based in the Netherlands and we are proud of that. While many competitors are often located in different countries, we believe it is powerful to serve the Dutch market with a Dutch team. Customers often have many questions during the start-up phase and it is nice to visit such a customer, get to know the people and calmly explain how things work or could work. Because the lines are short, we can often switch very quickly if there are specific questions.
We are building more and more links for various CMS and stock systems and have recently made a link exclusively for Bol.com. There was a demand for this because many shop owners consider Bol.com 2e have a sales platform and are often charged different prices than on their own site in connection with shipping costs. SlimstePrijs can therefore run single on Bol.com.
