What is a Product Feed?

Around the Dynamic Pricing software from SlimstePrijs to get it working on your site, we need a product feed. This is a file containing all the products of your webshop with the associated information per product. For example, this could be an Excel file in which a product is split per line into product name, EAN code, price, description, etc. For example, if you want to advertise on the internet, a product feed will always be requested. Google Shopping is an example of a site that will ask for this feed.

Do you already have a Product Feed?

Do you have a product feed? Then enter the link to the feed on the 'settings' page after you have entered a account have created. Based on this feed, we know which products you sell. We then make a scan of these products and you will soon see the first results. Only we can read the feed, we cannot make changes to your site, we need other information for that, that will follow later.

Product Feed Plugin

If you don't have a product feed you can get it by installing a plugin on your site. Whichever program you use, with every webshop package you can create a product feed for your webshop.

You do this as follows:

1. Log in to the admin panel of your webshop
2. Go to 'Plugins' (left menu)
3. Click on 'New plugin' (top left)
4. Search for: 'Google Product Feed'
5. Install a plugin with at least 4 stars
6. The plugin is now visible in the left menu
7. Open the plugin and let the program create an XML feed every day
