Create API keys in Lightspeed

Om Lightspeed can be linked to SlimstePrijs do we need API keys from Lightspeed. API keys are login details for our integration, which we can connect to. If we receive the API key and secret key from you, the account of SlimstePrijs are created and your products are automatically updated and you can start with dynamic pricing

Step 1 Create API keys in Lightspeed

In the Lightspeed dashboard, go to 'Settings' and click on that 'Developers'.

Step 2

Click on 'New API key'.

Step 3

Indicate how you want to name the new API key and click on 'Storing'.

Step 4

In this step you can specify what you want to give us permission for. Click on the following for proper operation:

Contents: N/A
Products: Read and write
Customers: N/A
Orders: N/A
Settings: N/A
Tracking: N/A

Then turn the knob Activate API key by clicking the button and then click 'Save'.

Step 5

Your API keys have now been created. Below the field from step 4 you will now see the API keys that belong to the link for SlimstePrijs. Mail us these codes or put them in your account yourself and your products will be added automatically.
